A nondenominational, non-profit youth outreach ministry enlisted in the spiritual battle of taking back God's kingdom!Why every kid?
First, timing: According to noted teen ministry evangelist Josh McDowell, this is the best time to present the gospel to youth. Research indicates that in this nation only 5% of this generation will become Christians; however that research also indicates that of those 5% coming to faith, 90% will do so by age 25.
Second Preserving: of that 5% only 10% of them will remain in faith after leaving home.
In other words, in a high school such as Lyons, KS with approximately 300 kids, on a national average we can expect:
- Only 15 will become Christians
- more than 13 of those 15 will do so before age 25
- at best, less than 2 of those kids will remain faithful Christians once they've left home
We believe this is a crisis of epic proportions and a wake-up call for the Church! A battle for the souls of young people is being waged on a scale unlike any before
